Review of PCB Circuit Board Holder
Overview
I’ve tried lots of PCB circuit board holders and “third” hands over the years when trying to solder components onto a PCB but this one I recently got has been my favorite so far.
It’s the Aven 17010 Adjustable Circuit Board Holder and goes for about $13 USD on Amazon.
It has adjustable clamps that let you rotate 360 degrees, sliding arms for PCBs of different sizes, and can hold board thickness up to 4mm!
Circuit Board Holder Setup
It’s pretty easy to setup the circuit board holder – just slide your PCB in the clamps and tighten the screws! Overall the quality is pretty good and I think the clamps are pretty sturdy. Depending on how much you need to move it around you may find yourself having to re-tighten the clamps from time to time but other than that I think it’s good.
